A few pictures!

So as promised, here's some pictures of our new furniture, and also our yard which my hubby has so diligently been working on (before it gets super hot and it all goes brown...)

Blogging is not exactly one of my talents.....

So...it is officially JUNE!  And my husband pointed out the other day that I have not updated the blog since like February, upon which I pointed out "well why don't you update it?"  Upon which he pointed out that he would not.  So here I am!  And before everyone thinks its just because I am lazy that I have not updated the blog.... DISCLAIMER- I am actually really REALLY busy.  And only like 35% lazy....

So here's whats new in the Memmott house!  We are both enjoying the excitement of summer school (and by excitement I actually mean awful misery).  Its my second to last semester before I graduate- all I have left is summer term and then graduate in August whoo whoo! However this means that I have pretty much already mentally checked out, and the fact that it's nice and summery outside does not help my cause.  I'm taking two classes this term, and two summer term, along with an independent study course that I have yet to start at some point in there too, so assuming I pass all my classes and finish my dang independent study, I'm a free girl come August 12!

Lets see.... in other news.... I started a new job!  I started back at the beginning of March, and lets just say severing ties with my old employer has been difficult (and not actually completed yet...) For the first couple of weeks, I tried to do both, to no avail because my new job is pretty much 40 hours a week, but I spent so long at American liberty that I just wasn't ready to give it up.  I felt like I was balancing my wife and my mistress; neither employer knew about the other and I would sneak off from one to go to the other.  Sorry about the inappropriate analogy; for the record I do not condone or participate in this behavior, nor do I have an actual wife or mistress haha. So now I am an employer of ModifyUtah, the modification specialists.  I do mortgage modifications for people with unfortunate circumstances who can't afford their mortgage payments.  Sounds like fun, right?  Well, its not.  Just kidding.  Some days I really really like it.  Other days when I have to deal with frustrated people and incapable lenders for hours on end I start to miss my facebook-filled days at American Liberty....

Also- I"M PREGGO!!!!

Um...not really on that last part, but....we did buy couches!  Almost as exciting.  We FINALLY have furniture in the upstairs of our house! YAY!  It doesn't echo anymore!  We got a killer deal from Knights furniture and did their whole you-can-afford-a-room-of-furniture-even-if-your-newly-married-and-poor deal,  and got a couch, a loveseat, an area rug, a coffee table and two end tables for way cheap!  The downside- it did take FOREVER to get it all, and once we finally got everything and set it up, we realized that the couch got smushed in the delivery process, so we got to wrap it all back up, drag it out to the truck, and wait another two weeks for a new one.  But I am really happy with how it all turned out!  Pictures one day soon! (But due to my blogging history, don't hold your breath...)
